WEB DESIGN
I worked on many websites throughout my two years as a Lead Graphic Designer at a Onpoint Media. Working with WordPress, I created designs from start to finish.
THE PROCESS:
-
A logo was created by me if the company does not already have one, or if they do not have a high-resolution logo. Meanwhile, Onpoint (or one of the sister companies) gathers information from the client
-
After all the information is gathered from the client, I would create a homepage flat based on a design the client liked.
-
Once the homepage designed is approved, I would create a coder list to send to our coder, and then the site would be built.
-
Once the site was coded (always on a test-site), I would go in and put all of the text and images up. I also created a coder list if I noticed anything wrong with the responsive levels of the site.
-
Once the test-site was approved by the client, I would go in and swap out any stock images (usually by FTP) and do a final check.
-
After the stock images were all set, the in-house coder would go in and make the website live for the client.
-
After the site launched, the client was offered monthly packages. If they do this, then they are allotted a certain amount of time per-month for edits and updates. Usually, these edits (new photos, text, re-working a page, page tops, etc…) were sent to me to do.
